Here Comes The Sun
Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun
shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach
of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
Isaiah 30:26
I was thinking about the biblical account of the flood, one I always have and still believe in, and a thought occurred to me.
In the Bible it talks about the waters from above, but just what are the waters from above? I believe initially there was
a layer of water around the earth. This layer protected the earth from the rays of the sun by acting like a prism. We
know that light through a prism comes out in colors, but when the flood occurred this prism was removed and thus the rays
became harmful and the lifespan decreased. We see in the bible that after the flood the age people lived slowly
dissipated. The 8 people from the arc lived to around 400 years old from the 900 years or so they lived prior. Then
the next generation lived to 200 and then down to where we are today. So could the water above the earth acting
like a prism been one reason we don't live as long today?
So I thought all that water fell to earth and is still here. And what if the evaporation rate was increased, could
that water be taken back up above the earth and thus perform the shielding and prism like function it once did? The answer
may lie in the bible itself in the verse cited at the top. G-d says that the light of the moon will be as the sun
and the sun's light will be sevenfold. Could this then evaporate the water that once was above the earth back to where
it came from. And as the water evaporates would it slowly shield the suns more powerful rays until there was an
equilibrium and the evaporation stopped or ended up at a level like today? The Bible says that initially
there was no rain and a steady mist rose up from the garden. How interesting is it that scientists have
found wood from trees with no growth rings. Growth rings are from the different levels of annual rainfall. But
if there was no rain, then there would be no growth rings!
Have you heard the idea that the Grand Canyon was carved out by the Colorado River? Have you ever wondered
why the Nile, Amazon, and Euphratyes don't carve out canyons? In fact they don't carve much at all. The truth
is the flood caused the Grand Canyon as rivers don't carve them out:)
